This past weekend the Racelab rolled into Greg Moore Raceway in Chilliwack B.C where the Burnaby based team competed in the Rotax class, but with a twist: running a ROK Powered CRG. This is unorthodox however the under powered kart found its way around the track faster than any other kart in the 20 kart field setting the races fastest lap by over 3/10's on the next best time and 7/10's of anyone behind that. The Racelab prepped kart starting 12th after being collected in a 1st corner "parking lot" style accident  forcing Hoffbeck to fall over a half a lap behind the nearest kart. He still managed to catch the tail of the field making up some spots in order to start in 12th for the final. Hoffbeck did not waste anytime in the Final to make his way the field which was made up of some big name talent all aboard Rotax power, but were no match for Hoffebeck as he caught the leader on the final lap and despite pulling out for the pass at the finish line he fell just short of a race win however he clearly set the tone that he will be a driver to watch on the Western Canadian scene.

As the 2010 Karting season approaches us the Race Lab is excited to announce our racing team program for 2010. The RaceLab racing team will be running in the Rok Cup Canada as well as in the Western Canadian Rotax Challenge with a line up of drivers that will surely be strong in both championships using both CRG and Sodikart chassis. In addition to these series' the Lab will be present at all West Coast Kart Club events offering their 18 years of karting experience service to their clientele to ensure whether it be year one or the most advanced drivers under our banner that your karting experience is fun, exciting, and of course competitive In addition to Canadian racing RaceLab is excited to partner with the G Phactory Racing Team in California for any racers who want to race in many of the top level American series's the RaceLab can be your ticket to getting there with a good solid program that is watched over by the Racelab's top personnel.
